Slippery Rock Light Up Night (Proposal)

Light up night is an event in the town of Slippery Rock that happens once every year. This specific involves the entire community of Slippery Rock. One reason that it is a newsworthy event is because many different businesses from the town itself take apart of this event. Another reason that it is a newsworthy event is because it happens very close to the university. This means that many different Slippery Rock students will attend this event. It is also a free event which makes it even better for college students. The kind of content that I will be getting at this event will be pictures of the event itself, video interviews from students that are attending the event, and also videos of the event itself. This event brings the entire community of Slippery Rock together, whether it is the local residents or the university itself. It is also a great way for local businesses to get involved with the community. Lastly, the event spreads a good amount of Christmas cheer as we get closer and closer to the holidays.
